• KSU FTH is a university student hackathon - any student enrolled in a college or university is eligible.
• Teams must consist of 2-5 students.
• Team Devpost must be complete and submitted on time.
• One Project per team - one team per participant.
• Teams must self-select the one awards category for their project submission.

What does connected mean in regards to an individual? How can they feel more connected to themselves? Can fashion and technology be harnessed to create deeper connections with oneself? And in what areas: expression? augmentation? data? health? sports?

CONNECTED COMMUNITY ($1,000 to one team)

What does connected mean in regards to a community? How can a foster deeper and more meaningful sense of community? Can fashion and technology be harnessed to do this? And in what areas: communication? expression? augmentation? data? 
 Additional Submission Requirements for this prize: Demonstrate multi-disciplinary team; Create a statement on how you how are you creating intersectionality and diversity in your team.

CONNECTED SYSTEMS ($1,000 to one team)

The fashion and tech industries can be thought of in terms of systems that must adapt (quickly) to change. Different business models (such as business to business or direct to customers) may benefits from being connected in new ways. What does connected mean in regards to a system or industry? How can fashion and technology be used to foster connections? What or whom are they connected to? Can fashion and technology be harnessed to create deeper connections with customers?

This award consists of post-hackathon mentorship with Enventys Partners to projects that show market promise and are ready for further project development to aid in the pursuit of bringing these projects to market.

The project that presents the best use of virtual fashion with CLO will receive a CLO software license for each of the team members. Each individual CLO software license market value is $450/year.
